- We started the Basketball Club in 2006 as a place for the local lads and ladies to hang out on a friday evening for an hour, chatting about stuff and shooting a few hoops too. It's €2.00 a head to cover the cost of the hall. Very informal setting and we try to have the craic. All are welcome to come. there is no pressure to perform or acheive a very high standard. If you like to have a game of basketball without all the usual "club" hype, then this is the one for you. This club is run by two local residents, Johnny Keogh and Andrew Stockman.
